2 How to Score
Tap + to add a point, − to correct a mistake
Select the match
Tap the first match under "Up Next". Active matches show a gold border.
Tap to score
Every tap updates the public scoreboard instantly. Spectators see changes in real-time.
Finalize the match
When the winning score is reached, verify with both captains and tap Save Final Score.
3 Multi-Set Matches
Some matches are best-of-3 sets. Here's how they work:
Sets 1 & 2
Played to 25 points (win by 2). When a team wins, Rally HQ automatically starts the next set.
Set 3 (if needed)
Played to 15 points (win by 2). This is the tiebreaker - first to win 2 sets takes the match.
Set transitions are automatic. Just keep scoring - the system handles switching between sets.
4 Correcting Mistakes
Tap the − button to remove a point. The correction syncs immediately.
Stop play and call the organizer. They can make corrections from the admin dashboard.
5 Connection Issues
If you lose connection
Keep scoring! Rally HQ saves your changes locally and syncs them when you reconnect.
6 Best Practices
Keep your device awake
Disable auto-lock during matches so you don't have to keep unlocking.
Use portrait mode
The scoring interface is optimized for vertical orientation.
Confirm final scores
Before saving, quickly confirm with both captains to avoid disputes.
Stay charged
Bring a portable charger or stay near an outlet for long tournaments.
